AFCAT 2 2020 Notification Eligibility Criteria 2020

Age Limit

• Minimum age limit: 20 years
• Maximum age limit (for the flying branch): 24 years
• Maximum age limit (ground duty): 26 years

Educational Qualification

• • Flying Branch – Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Maths and Physics securing minimum 50% marks, and
    • Graduation with minimum of 03 years course with a minimum of 60% marks OR
    • BE/B.Tech for 04 years with minimum 60% marks OR
    • Those who have cleared section A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers or Aeronautical Society of India with minimum 60% marks.

• • Ground Duty (Technical Branch) –
    • Candidates must have minimum 50% marks in 10+2 exam passed with Maths and Physics and 04 years graduation/integrated postgraduation qualification in Engineering/Technology
    • OR Those who have cleared section A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers or Aeronautical Society of India with minimum 60% marks
  • Ground Duty (Non-Technical Branch) –
    • Administration
      • Candidates must have minimum 50% marks in 10+2 exam passed with Maths and Physics and 03 years graduation, OR
      • Cleared section A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers or Aeronautical Society of India with minimum 60% marks
    • Education
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 and post-graduation with 50% marks

• Metrology
  • Post-graduate Degree in Science/Maths/Computer Applications/Statistics/Geography/Applied
  • Physics/Oceanography/Agricultural Meteorology/Ecology &
  • Environment/Meteorology/Geophysics/ Environmental Biology with minimum 50% marks.

Physical Requirements

1. Minimum Height for men and women candidates in Flying Branch: 162.5 cms,
   Leg Length: Min – 99 cms, Max -120 cms.
   Thigh Length: Max – 64 cms,
   Sitting Height: Min – 81.5 cms,
   Max – 96 cms

Note: No concession for age/ sex/ region in Flying Branch

2. Minimum Height for male candidates in Ground Duty (Technical/Non-technical):  157.5 cms.
For women candidates: 152 cms

Physical Requirements

1. Minimum Height for men and women candidates in Flying Branch: 162.5 cms,

AFCAT 2/2020: Selection Process

The candidates will be selected on the basis of the following stages:

• AFCAT Exam
• SSB Interview/Personality Test
• Medical Examination
• Final Merit List

AFCAT 2 2020 Notification: Application Fee

The Application Fee for AFCAT 2/2020  as per the categories is given:

• AFCAT Entry (For All Candidates) – Rs.250/-
• NCC Special Entry & Metrology Entry – Exempted

Note: Payment will be made through Debit Card/Credit card/net Banking/Challan.

How to apply for AFCAT 2 2020 Notification?
Interested candidates can apply to the posts through the online mode from 15 June to 14 July 2020. Candidates can take a printout of the finally submitted online application for future reference.
