NEET 2021: NEET or National Entrance cum Eligibility Test conducted annually by the NTA (National Testing Agency) is a medical entrance test carried out across the country. NEET 2021 Registration Process has started on July 13, 2021, on neet.nta.nic.in for admission of the eligible candidates to the undergraduate medical courses in medical institutions. The online application process for National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance-Test [NEET(UG) 2021] has been scheduled from July 13 to August 6, 2021.

NEET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for appearing in NEET (UG) is as follows:-
Academic Qualification
- Candidates must have cleared/appeared at 10+2 or an equivalent examination. Those who plan to appear for class 12 exams can also take part
- Class 12 must be studied with majors in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English
- A candidate must obtain a qualifying aggregate in the qualifying examination as listed below category-wise:
- General category – 50% marks in the qualifying examinations
- SC/ST/OBC category – 40% marks in the qualifying examinations
- Physically handicapped: General category – 45% marks in the qualifying examinations
- Physically handicapped: SC/ST/OBC category – 40% marks in the qualifying examinations
Eligibility Criteria – Criteria of Age
- A candidate of any category must have completed 17 years as of December 31, of the year of admission
- Till the Supreme court passes a judgment, there is no limit on the upper age cap

Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:
Step-1: Enter your or parent’s unique Email Id and Mobile No.to begin with the online registrtaion process
Step-2: Fill in the Online Application Form and pen down the system generated Application No.
Step-3: Upload the duly scanned images of Candidate’s latest Passport size Photograph (size: 10 kb to 200 kb), Post Card size photograph (4”X6”) (Size: 50 kb – 300 kb) and Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb), Left hand thumb impression (file size: 10 kb-50 kb) in JPG/JPEG format. (In case of any eventuality of left thumb being unavailable, right hand thumb impression may be used.), Class X Passing Certificate (file size: 100 kb to 400 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
For photograph, the focus needs to be on face (80% face coverage, ears clearly visible, on white background).
Step-4: Pay the required application fee through online mode and keep the transaction slip for future reference. The candidate has to make another transaction of fee, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.
Step-4After filling the form, download and save the form and take a print out of Confirmation Page after successful submission of the application form.
