The SSC CGL Selection Process is based on two stages –

- SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam will be qualifying in nature.
- The SSC CGL Tier I Examination has 4 sections – Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude & English Language
- Each section consists of 25 questions and each question carries 2 marks which makes it a total of 50 marks per section
- The total time duration is 60 minutes and there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks per question
- The Total marks can hence be calculated as –
