SSC CGL Tier-I Exam Pattern

- The SSC CGL Tier I Examination has 4 sections – Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude & English Language
- Each section consists of 25 questions and each question carries 2 marks which makes it a total of 50 marks per section
- The total time duration is 60 minutes and there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks per question
- The Total marks can hence be calculated as –

SSC CGL Tier-II Exam Pattern
There are 4 sections in SSC CGL Tier-2 Paper namely Quantitative Ability, English Language and Comprehension, Statistics, and General Studies (Finance and Economics) for which the pattern has been discussed below.

The SSC CGL Tier-II Examination has 4 papers out of which 2 papers are compulsory for all the post
- Paper III is Statistical Investigator Gr II & Compiler Post while Paper 4 is for Asst. Audit Officer Gazetted Group “B” Post only.
- Each question in all the 4 papers carries 2 marks with a total time duration of 2 hrs and 40 minutes
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer
- The Total Marks can be calculated as:-
- Total Marks = No. Of Correct Question*2 – No. Of Incorrect Questions*0.25
SSC CGL Tier-III Exam Pattern

SSC CGL Syllabus 2021-22 For Tier 4
SSC CGL Tier 4 Exam is a Computer Skill Test. SSC CGL Tier 4 is conducted in two steps:
- Skill Test in Data Entry (DEST) Test and
- Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) Test.
SSC CGL Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme for Tier IV 2022
- The final stage will be a computer proficiency test
- The total duration for the examination is 45 minutes
- This stage will be qualifying in nature & the details are given in the below table
