SSC CHSL and CGL 2020 Skill test dates: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the skill test dates 2020 for CHSL and CGL 2018 examinations. SSC has released an official notification on October 01, 2020, on its official website @ssc.nic.in. As per the official notice, the SSC CHSL 2018 skill test is scheduled to be conducted on November 26, 2020. Candidates who have qualified the Tier II of CHSL are eligible to appear for the skill test. The SSC CHSL tier II result was declared on February 25, 2020, and August 05, 2020.

The SSC CGL tier-III 2020 result was announced on September 30. Total 32,001 candidates have qualified the SSC CGL tier-III exam to appear for tier-IV (skill test).

The SSC CHSL paper-II 2020 result was announced on February 25. Total 32,600 candidates had qualified the exam to appear for skill test. Thereafter, in August, the Commission released additional SSC CHSL result in which 4,500 candidates were declared qualified to appear for skill test.

SSC CHSL Tier-III Exam Syllabus

Tier-III of SSC CHSL 2020 will be a Skill/ Typing Test of qualifying nature.

Skill Test for Data Entry Operator (DEO):

Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer. The duration of the Test will be 15 (Fifteen) minutes.

Typing Test for Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant LDCs and Court Clerks:
  • Typing Test will be conducted in English or Hindi and candidates while applying for the Examination, will have to indicate his/her choice/option for Skill Test Medium in the Application Form.
  • Typing Test will be of qualifying in nature.
  • It will be administered on the Computer, to be provided by the Commission or any agency authorized by the Commission.
  • Candidates opting for English medium should have typing speed of 35 words per minute.
  • Candidates opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute.
  • The speed will be adjudged on the accuracy of typing on the Computer of a given text passage in 10 minutes.
  • Visually Handicapped candidates (with 40% disability and above) will be allowed 30 minutes
