SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications (As on 1st January 2021)
- (A) Assistant Audit Officer/AAO (Assistant Accounts Officer) – Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute.
- (B) Junior Statistical Officer – Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard. OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
- (C) Statistical Investigator Grade-II – Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. Note: Statistics should be a subject in all three years of the graduation course.
- (D) All other Posts – Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.

SSC CGL Tier-4 Exam PatternSSC CGL Tier-4 Exam is a Computer Skill Test. It will be conducted in two steps: DEST Test & CPT Test. DEST: Candidates are required to type 2000 words in 15 minutes on a computer in English. This test is conducted to check a candidate’s writing skills. CPT: This test is conducted to check a candidate’s proficiency in Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Generation of Slides.

Q. When will SSC CGL 2020-21 be conducted?
Ans. The SSC CGL 2020-21 exam notification is released on December 29th 2020 and the Tier I exam is scheduled to be conducted from May 29th 2021 onwards.
Ans: SSC CGL is a national-level exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to shortlist candidates for Group-B and -C posts in various ministries/ departments/ organizations of the Government of India.
Ans: The SSC CGL salary after the 7th Pay Commission varies from a minimum of Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 2,50,000 (including perks), based on different posts. SSC CGL exam is one of the most sought after exams in India and one major reason for this is the salary provided by the Commission.
Ans: The minimum and maximum age limit of the general candidates are 18 years and 32 years respectively. However, the reserved category students get the age relaxation for applying the exam. To apply the SSC CGL 2021 exam, the aspirants should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
