SSC CGL Selection Process 2024

The SSC CGL Recruitment 2024 is conducted in different stages.The SSC CGL 2024 Selection Process is mentioned below:

Tier 1- Computer-based test
Tier 2- Computer-based test
Tier 2 includes 3 papers i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II further in separate shifts on separate days.
The Data Entry Speed Test has been included in Section III for 15 minutes in Module II as One Data Entry Task

  • SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam will be qualifying in nature. 
  • The SSC CGL Tier I Examination has 4 sections – Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude & English Language
  • Each section consists of 25 questions and each question carries 2 marks which makes it a total of 50 marks per section
  • The total time duration is 60 minutes and there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks per question
  • The Total marks can hence be calculated as –
  • Total Marks = No. Of Correct Questions*2 – No. Of Incorrect Questions*0.50. Check the table below for more information.
